Living

Perhaps you noticed, perhaps not, but this December I decided to live. I didn't post about it or photograph it, I just lived it. It was glorious. I've decided to come back now. I have accomplished much I listed, and other things I had never thought of. Mama and I baked until one o'clock before Christmas, and barely any of the goods were manufactured with almond meal.

I listened to delightful "Once in Royal David's City" from King's College on Christmas Eve while eating scones, does it get any more delightful?

Enjoy this lovely video of the event here:

Then the traditions began...

Having danced the ceremonial dance around the chosen Christmas tree, we cut it down.

We decorated the tree, then proceeded with preparatory baking. I made three pies and they were not sugar free. We ate it all.

Now it's New year's Day, and it's amazing what the Lord has done. Can we not be bursting with joy at this passing of time, at these glorious days that go so fast? Thank you, Lord. You are so good.

Last evening we sat by the Christmas tree and made a list. It wasn't peaceful, but it was memorable.

List all the things you loved about 2012. Here are some ideas.

Most enjoyed book
Yummiest recipe
Favorite song
